Complete System Check

  • Cycle on Heat and test in heating mode.

  • Inspect gas lines and check for leaks within 5’ of the furnace.

  • Inspect outdoor gas regulators for leaks.

  • Compare capacitor values to manufacture specifications.

  • Inspect gas burners and channels and clean as needed.

  • Securely fasten furnace/ air handler panels and replace missing screws.  

  • Measure blower fan amperage and voltage.

  • Clean flame sensor rod. (Reserved for CPM)

  • Inspect blower wheel for accumulated dirt and debris. 

  • Test equipment safety shut off devices.

  • Check furnace burner flames.

  • Clean inducer motor hose and housing port. (Reserved for CPM)

  • Measure return and supply air temperature differential.

  • Check indoor air filters and replace. (Client provides filter(s)
    (Reserved for CPM)

  • Check the flue pipe for proper venting and clearance.

  • Check refrigerant charge. (HP only)

  • Test client’s carbon monoxide detector and smoke alarm.

  • Inspect furnace gas regulator and shut off valve.
